AB FAB Parties

AB FAB Parties is a small business that specialises in party decorations. I was commissioned to make 2 Instagram story’s and one post. I worked closely with the client to make sure the text, font, colours and style was exactly what they wanted.

Cards have always been a big part of society as they are used to mark the most significant events of our lives. These moments could include a baby shower, birthday and more. Receiving a card gives you something tangible to display, keep and look at whenever you need a reminder of those kind words and that special moment or day. Unfortunately, many cards end up sitting in a box or the bin. This is why this new trend of buying a book instead of a card was created. The reasoning for this is that you can buy a book for the same price as a card, it is eco-friendlier and for children it gives them something to re-use over and over. Many people still want to make the books personalised, with a meaningful message. This is when I decided to start making personalised front pages. Many of the materials used are recycled, hence my designs are in a collage style. There’s an option to have a hand-written note or to have a blanc section for the customer to use. These personalised books have been popular and I continue to enjoy making them. The design I have displayed is on I did for a recent baby shower.

I recently completed a commission for a client who wanted a charcoal drawing of a body. I started by sketching some ideas in different styles to see what the client preferred. This piece was made to make the viewer question, what's the girl's story in the picture? The client was thrilled with the final product as it fitted in perfectly with her home aesthetic.

I had the pleasure of photographing reed exhibitions' Christmas awards ceremony, at Twickenham stadium. As the event photographer, my goal was to capture the energy and excitement of the conference while also highlighting the key moments and speakers. The lighting in the venue was challenging at times, but I was able to adjust my settings to get some great shots.
Overall, it was a fantastic event and I'm so grateful for the chance to capture it through my photography and learn more about the creative side of the corporate world.
